Exciting times at Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona

By Vantrix Marketing - March 02,2015

Hola. Barcelona is an amazing city—and has been a hub of art, culture and business since Roman times. Unfortunately the team from Vantrix attending Mobile World Congress 2015 won’t have much time to admire Gaudi’s architecture or to sample tapas, as we’ll be really busy demonstrating new ultra-high-density solutions with our partners Artesyn, HP, Intel and Kontron.

Here’s where you’ll find us and what we’ll be showing:

At the Intel booth (Hall 8.1 App Planet Stand 8.1E41) - Vantrix together with Artesyn and Intel will showcase new speech processing capabilities on Intel® Architecture processors that deliver up to three times the density of existing DSP-based speech processing platforms.

In the HP booth (Hall 3 Stand 3A20) – Vantrix and HP and will demonstrate an ultra-high-density mobile bandwidth optimization solution for video and other data-intensive traffic. The combination of the Vantrix Media Platform and HP OpenNFV reference architecture helps deliver the highest-quality end user experience, while driving revenue and reducing CAPEX and OPEX by up to 80 percent.

In the Kontron booth (Hall 5 Stand 5H19) - Kontron and Vantrix will demonstrate a speech processing solution on Intel architecture that can deliver up to double the performance of traditional hardware-based solutions, enabling carriers to optimize network performance levels and reduce costs for speech transcoding in VoLTE and WebRTC environments. This virtualized cloud-based solution fits well with operators pursuing a NFV infrastructure strategy.

So if you’re lucky enough to be in Barcelona for the show, stop by and see us at one of the locations listed above.

You can also find us at own Vantrix meeting room Hall 5, 5L9MR.

Not at the show this year? No worries. We’ll be glad to set up a time to share with you some of the exciting ultra-high-density media processing solutions that we demonstrated at Mobile World Congress. Contact us to schedule a time.

Stay tuned for more pictures and reports from the show floor. Adios!
