Montreal, August 2, 2018 - Ever wondered what it would be like to stand on centre court during a dramatic rally between the world's top tennis players? Visitors to the Rogers Cup Tennis tournament will be able to experience the drama, speed and athleticism live up close in immersive Virtual Reality.
Montreal, March 6, 2018. Vantrix had the opportunity to test the PRO25-AQUA underwater VR camera system for an artistic underwater VR production conceived, coordinated and produced by the aquatic image specialists of AQUAMEDIAS.
Vantrix is participating in the Trade Mission to China and exhibiting 360 VR camera systems at the Modern Art Museum in Shanghai. The Trade Mission includes 140 companies from Quebec in entertainment, media and technology and focuses on business-to-business development between Quebec and China.
The National Film Board of Canada (ONF) used Vantrix PRO25 cameras to capture footage used for the November 17 inauguration of the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa. The immersive film sequences shown at the entrance lobby "video wall" and outside massive wall includes footage ranging from underwater scenes and waterfalls at Rawdon, to the inside of a metal smelting factory, and wheat fields peacefully moving with the wind.
For the second year running, Vantrix is selected by Streaming Media Magazine as part of the Top 100 vendors that matter most in the online video industry.
Every year the Rogers Cup by Tennis Canada is hosted simultaneously in Montreal and Toronto. In 2017, as an added value to the event visitors, Vantrix provided real-time, high quality 360 VR streaming of centre court action between the two cities.
